Lehooo

Lehooo is the alias of Leo Horovitz, creator of this website, all its content and everything else of value in this world. During the weekdays he is a philosophy student with a previous focus on computer science (an almost finished bachelor’s degree in that subject wait to be finished any day now). He’s interested mostly in logic, computation and other formal sciences, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and has general scientific inclinations with a keen interest in anything in the fields of natural science. Religion is a pet peeve for Lehooo, something which he opposes at all costs and sees as a genuine force for evil in this world on the same level as racism, nationalism and other dogmatisms.

Apart from these intellectual enterprises Lehooo has always liked to create. Sketches and drawings were his main (and sporadic) output in previous years, but since spring 2010 he has been producing the very comics on display on this site three times a week. These comics have since become his main form artistic output. He occasionally creates small clay figures or sculptures which are hardened in an oven before being painted with acrylics, some of these are on display here too as well as a few really old stop motion videos. The creativity also gets an outlet through his interest in computer science, and programming (specifically, programming computer games) was what first drove him to this subject. This very site is designed and maintained by him (though it uses WordPress, so the coding mostly consists in theme design and in adding some extra functionality.

Lehooo loves to write and will try to get more of this done soon by starting to blog and post short essays, statements, theses, manifests, whatever else he feels like.

That seems to be all in Lehooo’s mind at the moment, more output to come later. Peace out!
